| Summary | 0003706: Patch device tree on-the-fly for run-time detected features | ||||
| Description | Some features of F&S boards can be detected at run-time by looking at config jumpers or some other dynamic detection mechanisms. So U-Boot knows about these features, but Linux does not. To pass this information on to Linux, the device tree has to be modified (patched) before Linux is started. U-Boot does this already for the Linux command line, the memory size and Ethernet settings. Add functions to also modify board specific settings in the device tree. | ||||
