Summary | 0003754: Switch back to zImage for Linux kernel
Description | NXP has switched from uImage to zImage quite a while back. F&S still used uImage, but for the newer 4.9.x kernels we should follow to zImage, too. This is not a big problem because F&S U-Boot can also start zImage files with command bootm, which is not possible on a vanilla U-Boot. So customers do not need to change habits when using zImage. They can continue to use bootm or they can use bootz like on other U-Boots, as they like.
