| Summary | 0003720: CONFIG_NETCONSOLE does not work | ||||
| Description | A customer reports that compilation fails if CONFIG_NETCONSOLE is activated. Using this feature allows using the U-Boot console via network, for example if the device is not in near distance, like when doing remote updates of software. As F&S has an own version of all stdio, serial and console stuff, this is not surprising. Check if we can provide support for CONFIG_CONSOLE in the future. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Define CONFIG_NETCONSOLE in the .h-config file. Compile U-Boot. This fails because of errors in drivers/net/netconsole.c. | ||||
